Leading Pharmaceutical Company is currently seeking a driven and innovative Post-Doctoral Fellow in Immunology to join our Non-clinical Drug Safety (NDS) Department at our Ridgefield, CT facility.

The NDS department is currently recruiting a Post-Doctoral Fellow to advance our understanding of non-clinical in vitro/ex vivo/in vivo models to predict toxicities associated with products targeting the immune response of cancer patients, including combination therapy approaches. The candidates will collaborate with our Modeling, Molecular Pathology, PK/PD, Immunology, and Cancer Immunotherapy groups. The scientist will be expected to initiate and publish research findings to internal and external scientific communities.

Postdoctoral Research Areas of Focus:

Characterize next generation non-clinical models for predictivity of toxicities associated with immune potentiation from immune-oncology products
Deepen mechanistic understanding of inter-species differences of response to immune-modulatory products.
Evaluate novel translatable safety biomarkers for Immuno-Oncology Products
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:

Recently granted or anticipated PhD degree in Immunology or Cancer Immunotherapy
Demonstrated knowledge of immunology, in vivo and/or in vitro immune-oncology models, and state of the art immunoassay technologies.
Experience with 3D tissue cultures or micro-physiological systems a plus
Ability to collaborate with scientist from other areas
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
